Kendrick Skipper is the Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A at Magnolia (FM 1488 & FM 2978) and Chick-fil-A at Alden Bridge/The Woodlands (Research Forest & Kuykendhal). He currently leads and serves with over 150 amazing leaders and team members at the 2 locations as they are blessed to proudly serve over 25,000 loyal patrons each week between their locations. He is humbled to serve his community through his work/ministry/passion in embracing Chick-fil-A’s Corporate Purpose “To Glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us, and to have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.”
Kendrick was raised in Gladewater, Texas (Longview/Tyler/Northeast Texas). He went on to attend and graduate from Baylor University with a BBA in Marketing and Management.
He started working with Chick-fil-A at 16 years old, as his first job, and also continued to work with them while at college, never envisioning at that time, the plans God had for him, in Chick-fil-A becoming his career.
He got his first opportunity to become a Chick-fil-A Owner/Operator in 2001, taking over the Chick-fil-A at Alden Bridge/The Woodlands location. After much blessings and successes at this location, Kendrick was given the rare and special opportunity to become a Multi-Unit Owner/Operator within Chick-fil-A, opening Chick-fil-A at Magnolia in 2008. In that time, he and team have been truly blessed with the opportunity to love and serve our local community, in the store, and outside the store, in many meaningful, impactful, and countless ways.
Kendrick has always felt the call of “being blessed to be a blessing” to others, and has served actively in many local community organizations and efforts, through service and/or leadership positions. Among those are: Celebration Church of The Woodlands and nearly all local churches; Conroe ISD, Magnolia ISD, and nearly all other local schools; Greater Magnolia Chamber of Commerce, The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce, Magnolia Community Foundation, Alden Bridge Village Association, Boy Scouts of America- Sam Houston Council, and many others.
Kendrick has been blessed to call The Woodlands/Magnolia area home now for 17+ years, and he and his loving and amazing wife, Coleen, and their two young children, Grayson (11) and KallieAnn (8), look forward to many great years ahead in the area!
