Eric Evans joined HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball as chief executive officer in 2017 with extensive HCA Healthcare leadership experience. Prior to joining HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball, he served as CEO of East Houston Regional Medical Center.
During a tenure that began in 1996, Evans served as senior vice president of strategic planning for the HCA Gulf Coast Division and chief operating officer of The Woman’s Hospital of Texas in Houston and Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Louisiana.
Evans earned a master’s degree in health services administration from The George Washington University in Washington, DC and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The University of Texas at Dallas. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a graduate of the American Leadership Forum Medial Class 5.
On the personal side, Eric enjoys volunteering in the community and is a small group leader at Church of the King in Katy. On the recreation side, Eric enjoys exercising, golf, tennis, taking in the culture of Houston, and spending time with friends and family in Texas. Eric lives in Katy with his wife Patty and two step children, Tyler and Sarah.
