Berger Geosciences, LLC
Co-Founder, Executive Vice President & CFO
Bill Berger is the co-founder, with his son, Bill III, of Berger Geosciences, LLC (B-geO). B-geO is a geosciences services company, founded in 2007, providing subject matter expertise in assessing geohazards and geopressure/geomechanical conditions in deep water basins to oil and gas exploration companies around the world.
Bill grew up near Detroit, MI, receiving a BA Degree in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of Detroit. He later earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. He had a successful 35-year career in industrial manufacturing, achieving the position of Vice President and General Manager of the Western Hemisphere for Cameron International from where he elected early retirement in 1999.
Bill has had a long association with GMPCC and the former GMCC. Berger Geosciences, has been the Title Sponsor of the B-geO Magnolia Miles annual bike ride, co-hosted by the Chamber, since the inception of the ride in 2008, just a few months after B-geO was founded. Over the course of 11 years B-geO Magnolia Miles has contributed $56,176 to the Chamber.
Bill has also long been active with other community organizations, including his Parish of St. Matthias Catholic Church, where he was Parish Manager from 2005 – 2009, the Knights of Columbus of St. Matthias, TOMAGWA where he was Chair of the Funding Committee for the Magnolia Clinic and where he is currently a member of the Development Committee, a past member and Vice-Chair of the Board Directors, of Holy Name Passionist Retreat Center, and several other community non-profit organizations.
Bill and his wife, Jan, have lived in the City of Stagecoach, near Magnolia, for the past 21 years, where he was a Councilman for 2 years and thereafter Mayor for 6½ years. They have seven grown children and ten “rapidly growing” grandchildren.

Lory was born and raised in Northern California and relocated to Texas 5 years ago. Her husband was born and raised in Magnolia and upon his retirement from law enforcement in California, they moved to begin a new chapter. She has made Texas her home and has felt very welcomed by the community she serves. Lory brings over 30 years in the Real Estate industry to her current position as a Residential Mortgage Loan Originator for Mid America Mortgage in Magnolia. She prides herself on a strong work ethic and exceptional customer service. Throughout her career, she has found that her client relationships are what sets her apart. She continues to build her network of business relationships thru her commitment to the community. She has excelled in her career earning many awards including Top 5% Sales for FNF (nationwide) and Top Sales Award for Capital Title (Houston Division).
When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband of 21 years, Louis and their family and friends.

SpeedPro Imaging Magnolia
Texas became Kathy’s home when she was eleven, and she has worked and lived in the Magnolia area now for the past 18 years. She recently received her bachelor’s degree in business, and in March of 2017, purchased a large format printing franchise, SpeedPro Imaging Magnolia.
Prior to purchasing the franchise, Kathy worked in the oil and gas industry for seventeen years. Beginning as a billing clerk, Kathy worked her way up the totem pole at Liner Shoes Inc. (a global supplier for oil field equipment in Houston, Texas), where she eventually held the role of vice president. After being laid off in January of 2017, she decided to pursue a different career direction, finding a great opportunity with SpeedPro Imaging.
Kathy along with her husband Brian are members of Joyful Life Lutheran Church, and have been married for 28 years, they have three sons, the youngest set to graduate this school year from Magnolia High School. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and Photography, and is happy to call herself a business owner in Magnolia.

Society of Samaritans
Shirley moved to Magnolia in 2014. She retired after 30 years of senior human resources management positions with NASA, Pitney Bowes and Arthur Andersen. She is serving as the President of the Board of Society of Samaritans, a non-profit ministry in Magnolia, for the past 3 years, and is an active leader in Magnolia’s First Baptist Church women’s ministries. She served as President of Montgomery County Society of Human Resources Management Association (MCSHRM) and as President of Bay Area Human Resources Management Association (BAHRMA). She has volunteered over the years as a Bible study teacher for teen girls and toddlers, as a CASA Advocate and as a hotline counselor for crisis centers in the Bay Area and Montgomery County.
Shirley’s husband, Rod Jensen, went to heaven in 2014 – three months after they moved to Magnolia. They have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. They are all the joy of her life and are whom she loves to spend all of her spare time with!
Margie’s business is Taylorized PR, a boutique Public Relations firm serving the Greater Montgomery County area since 2014. Prior to establishing Taylorized PR she worked in the non-profit sector as Director of Development for Crisis Assistance Center (formerly known as Montgomery County Emergency Assistance), the Montgomery County Food Bank, as Director of Marketing/Development, and Montgomery County Youth Services, as Outreach Coordinator serving homeless youth with resources in all secondary schools throughout the county. She also worked part time in 2017 as Director for Development for Bridgewood Farms.
Taylorized PR works with nonprofits, small businesses, and other organizations to increase branding, revenue, and awareness in the community. Her services include social media, relationship marketing, direct mail, website maintenance, newsletters, community engagement, press releases, positive political consulting, developing marketing ideas, and special events. She writes a weekly article in The Courier and hosts a weekly radio show in Downtown Conroe since 2016.
Her non-profit experience began in 2003, and prior to that she worked 20 years in retail in various capacities- Foley’s as a buyer in the Men’s Fragrance Buying Office, Garden Ridge as a financial planner, Stage Stores (Palais Royal) in Buying Office, and many years in store management at various stores.
Her involvement in the community includes membership in the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber, The Woodlands Area Chamber, and the Greater Magnolia Parkway Chamber, TX-Agri-Life Family and Community Health Committee, Entergy Power to Care Board, Board Director of Family Promise, Conroe Rotary Board Director, Montgomery County Association of Business Women, Liberty Belles Republican Women, Conroe Downtown Area Association, and PR sponsor for many local non-profit events.
In 2015 she was the Volunteer of the Year for the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce, Women of Distinction in 2014, and an alumni of LMC 2015. Her experience has awarded me 30 years in leadership and 15 years in Marketing/Development.
She and her husband Jeff have been married for 19 years and between them they have 4 grown children ranging in age from 28-34, 6 grandchildren, and her youngest son serves in the Army. They live in Woodforest and have 2 dachshunds!
