A Message from GMPCC President Sandy Barton

I hope you are enjoying a wonderful lead-up to our Independence Day holiday next Monday.

You may have noticed that your Chamber team was away from the office for a few days last week. We were busy discovering new ways to serve and support our members at the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives Annual Meeting. We connected and learned more about what was currently going on in the State of Texas and with our fellow Texas Chambers. Your staff is excited to bring you more and different engagement opportunities, and additional communication that we hope will provide you with new ways to better utilize your Chamber membership benefits.

I thought this might be a good time to share with you our Chamber’s Mission Statement: “The Greater Magnolia Parkway Chamber of Commerce advances economic growth in the community, provides access to resources and advocates for business.” So, what in the world does that mean? Over the course of the coming weeks, I thought we would share a little bit about what your Chamber does in your community even when you are not here in person to participate.

We will also be adding a new section of your Weekly Coffee Break email called “What’s Perking when You’re Working,” which will hopefully help you know more about your Chamber benefits and what we are doing when you are busy growing your business.

Look for these changes and information in the coming weeks. If you have an interest in learning more about how to participate in your Chamber or community, please don’t hesitate to give us a call. We would love to hear from you. Have a question or concern or suggestion for your Chamber? Again, please let us know how we can better serve you.

Thank you for your membership!
